Bookkeeper & Administrator
We are a growing start-up business looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a bookkeeper and administrator in our Davenport, Bunbury WA 6230 office. This role will be responsible for overseeing the company finance and assisting with administrative aspects of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports for management review.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organising paperwork.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the office and production.
- This position currently is 15-20 hours a week with the possibility of more as company continues to expand
- Responsible for weekly social media releases
- Website administration is advantageous but not required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
- Entry level skills in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software such as Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organised records.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
